[edit]- Though considered one of the mainstream daily newspapers. The Trinidad & Tobago Express has been accused of being out of touch with the real issues affecting the grassroots population. Also that the majority of its' columnists have been accused of 'Armchair Journalism' in which the resident journals obtain their stories over the telephone from sources who may be deemed questionable. Many stories printed have been discredited as inaccurate or in extreme cases false by readers. Lack of Indepth Investigation is another complaint by readers.
I don't think this is suitable for the article, at least not in this form, without any sources. Guettarda 00:36, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Name change
[edit]Trinidad Express Newspapers does seem to be what the website calls itself these days, but the front-page nameplates I can see on the e-editions read Daily Express (no location given, at least not in large type) or Saturday Express or, presumably, Sunday Express. In running text on the website the editors use Trinidad Express. Wikipedia tends to use newspapers' Page 1 nameplate names as article names, rather than using the name at the top of the associated website. Trinidad Express or Daily Express (Trinidad) would be my suggestions but what saith consensus? ``` t o l l ` b o o t h ` w i l l i e `` $1.25 PLEASE ``` 21:22, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
